Integrated Design of the Entire System – The design of the system has to start with the multi-sensory inputs that it receives and go right through to the response that is required (hopefully one that is as autonomous as possible). One has to provide a detailed specification for each of the components from the cameras and other sensors through to the computing and network design. It must address issues like the optimal placement of cameras which only those experienced with the AI technology used, can provide. A good integrated design will deliver a robust system with few ongoing issues.
